Our condo has 131 suites from cozy one bedrooms with a den to luxurious penthouse suites or 'front suites' with a panoramic view of the bay. Our indoor pool, fitness room, library and two guest suites are Shared Facilities with Grand Harbour. Water View and Grand Harbour each have their own Board of Directors and three Directors from each manage the Shared Facilities. Both buildings are managed by Bayshore Property Management.
Since our opening in 2006, our residents have taken a keen interest in being involved in the life of the condo neighbourhood. Our volunteers plan activities to keep our residents involved. The Water View is a very social building. We have pot luck dinners, Christmas Tree Lighting and Christmas dinner and other special events celebrating Canada Day, St. Paddy's Day, Valentine Day, etc. Pub nights include a Happy Hour, Social Evening, Takeout Dinner Evening. The Wellness Committee has organized Tai Chi classes and provides interesting guest speakers. There is a group participating in the VON Smart Program, gentle exercise. Our Volunteers ensure the building is beautifully decorated for every season. Two of our ladies decorate the outside planters which provide a lovely welcome to the Water View! Volunteers also keep the pond well maintained - the envy of the waterfront! The TV Committee hosts Movie Nights throughout the year. Other activities include billiards, Aqua-fit, Games afternoon and Bid Euchre, which is held almost daily between Grand Harbour and ourselves.
